• The Best Time to Visit: If you want that true “Africa vibe” with the dry, golden savannah, visit during the dry season from July to October. If you prefer a lush, vibrant green landscape, the rainy season (December to March) is beautiful too.
• What to Bring: It can get very hot and dusty in the open plains, so bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, plenty of water, and your best camera lenses or binoculars for wildlife spotting.
• Fitness Level: Easy. Most of the exploring is done via vehicle with short, flat walks around the viewpoints and the beach.
